Therapy is held in confidence between therapist and individual. Individual therapy aims to increase the individuals sense of his/her own well-being. In the beginning of a therapeutic, therapist and individual build rapport and trust. Together, the therapist and individual collaborate to define areas of interest and goals of therapy. The process allows for clarity, healing, growth, and validation. Individuals have a variety of needs including help with: life transitions, grief & loss, relationship concerns or confusion, trauma, addictions, emotional regulation, depression and anxiety, building self esteem and confidence, gender issues, family problems, stress, eating and body issues, paradigm shifts, communication skills, among many others.
